Harpenden Veterens Day Parade
Veterens Day Parade at Harpenden 2008

All of the Band arrived in good time after a 'pleasurable' trip down the M1.

Peter Vinall played the lead bugle for the first time on this important Parade.

The local population turned out in considerable numbers for this Veterens March. We were once again very lucky with a nice sunny day, but not too hot.

After the short march through the town a display was performed on the pleasant grassy area at the front of the British Legion Club. The Band then joined forces with the Harpenden Pipe Band to leave the area to a round of applause.

The hackle that went walk about in town managed to find its way home

After putting the kit back on Poppy, use was made of a handy ice cream van, but we had to buy our own, Kim couldn’t stretch to 16 icecreams, however, he did provide Crunchies and drinks.
