The band was asked to play at a special event in Middleton Cheney recently.

It was part of the National open Garden Scheme which supports 6 different charities.

10 gardens were open for the public to visit, at a ticket price of £4, but only one garden in Church Lane had the attraction of a live band playing.

£1300 was raised on the day, £148 of which was raised by Jill Meara

The band was happy to donate their time and talent for free, as was shown by a good turn out, as a thank you to Jill for hosting the annual fancy dress bonfire party .
