The band has been given a very generous gift of £1,000 by the Chipping Norton Branch of the Royal British Legion, due to the closing of their social club.

The Donation was made at an evening presentation in Chipping Norton to Matthew and Christopher Olds,accompanied by Band Master Kim Prentice.

Several Cheques were also presented to other various good causes.

The bands intention at the moment is to purchase new instruments, possibly a Marimba to give the band a softer sound.
